The Family Information Service (FIS) at ask is able to give estimates over the phone of the following:
- The financial advantages of employer supported childcare for employees
- Working Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit
- How Working Tax Credit is affected by taking a *Salary Sacrifice and how any savings will affect entitlement to the childcare element of Working Tax Credit.
*Salary Sacrifice is a scheme whereby parents can take a reduction in salary in exchange for Childcare Vouchers from their employer.
To do this we use a web based facility. Personal information (details of income, age etc.) is needed to give an estimate. Although we ask for callers’ names and contact details to record enquiries, no information that could identify an individual is entered on the website.
