In April 2008 a new system was introduced to measure and compare the performance of the disabled children’s services of each local authority in England. Every local authority will now be measured against 198 national indicators, to see how well they are serving their local community. This leaflet gives you information on how it will work and how parents will be surveyed on what actually happens.
