Educational Psychology Service
Wiltshire’s Educational Psychology Service works with children and young people, parent or carers, and schools to find ways to promote emotional, social and learning development.
Educational Psychologists, focus on the whole child (including their social emotional and intellectual development) in a variety of settings including the classroom, the school as a whole and the family home. They carry out assessments and observations in order to identify a child or young person's support needs in school.

Learning Support Service
This team works in conjunction with schools, SENCO's, class teachers and Teaching Assistants to improve the learning, teaching and standards of achievement of pupils with special educational needs. They aim to help schools effectively support pupils with special educational needs.

Educational Welfare Service
Education Welfare Officers (EWOs) work with schools and families to ensure all children of statutory school age achieve and maintain excellent attendance at school. Working with other agencies and parents, they try to prevent and resolve difficulties which may lead to non school attendance.
