Find it! is a single directory where you can search to find the contact details for Services (including a Special Find it! section), Activity and Parent and Toddler Groups and Children's Centres.

What information can I expect to find in the Activities Section?

ActivitiesActivity groups can be available:

  • all year
  • during term time

Information about holiday activities can be found here.

Information about one off events in term time can be found on our Events Calendar.

An activity group introduces young children to different experiences such as baby massage, music, baby signing and rhyme time, pre-school gymnastics and dancing, water activities, even Spanish and French for toddlers and football for 2 year olds! Parents and carers go along with their children often joining in the fun and making lasting friendships.

Activity groups can be privately run or provided by organizations such as Leisure Centres and Libraries.

As children get older they may want to join one of the uniformed groups, a sports club, a youth club or other leisure activity.

The information in this directory offers details of unregistered activities.  For information about registered childcare and activities please contact Wiltshire Council's Early Years & Childcare Team on 0300 003 4561 or access their website at www.wiltshire.gov.uk/schoolseducationandlearning/earlyyearsandchildcare.htm. Please note that parents may be able to get help with the cost through the childcare element of Working Tax Credit as long as the provision is registered with Ofsted.
