Salisbury & District Dyslexia Support Group

Dyslexia SupportTimed to coincide with Dyslexia Awareness Week the Salisbury & District Dyslexia Support Group will commence on the 8th October 2012 at 7:30pm. The event is focusing on what dyslexia and dyscalculia are and what strategies can be put in place to help and will be held at the Royal British Legion Club, 9 - 11 Endless Street, Salsibury, SP1 1DL
 
The group was started to provide support and signposting for families affected by both these educational needs and at the first event the group will be looking for ideas and suggestions that will shape the group as they go on.  Further meetings are scheduled for the 2nd Monday of every month.

  • striving to improve access to information and services for parents and carers.
  • working closely with a wide variety of organisations to ensure parents’ views are considered
Times are financially difficult for many families at the moment just making a call to us could be a cost too far. In response to concerns we now provide a call back service. Information workers will offer to call you back especially when the call is from a mobile. We hope this will help enquirers to relax and ask all the questions they have rather than watching their minutes.
